2022 Awards - Graduate Student Scholarship (Sally Yannuzzi)
We're continuing to celebrate our award winners! Please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students and professionals
Student Awards: This year the Board decided to ask students to nominate themselves by applying for a scholarship and demonstrating why they were deserving. We awarded two undergraduate and two graduate students.
Sally Yannuzzi is our graduate student scholarship recipient from the University of North Dakota. Sally started her PhD in January of 2020 developing the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), a remote sensing tool, and associated neural networks for wildlife ecology applications associated with wind energy. As a student in the UND program, Sally has been an outstanding mentor to undergraduate and graduate students. She is constantly including undergraduates in her research project and allowing them to develop a variety of skills under her supervision. Sally, congratulations on this scholarship from the ND Chapter of the Wildlife Society!
