The North Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society (NDCTWS) supports a wide variety of activities that advance wildlife conservation, education, and the wildlife profession across North Dakota. Chapter activities include supporting wildlife research; providing student scholarships, travel support, and student awards; recognizing outstanding wildlife professionals and conservation partners through professional awards; supporting student and professional development; hosting the annual meeting and other educational opportunities; advocating on wildlife and natural resource issues; and providing science-based information to industry, agencies, policymakers, and other partners to help minimize impacts to wildlife and their habitats.
The Chapter also helps students participate in professional meetings, conferences, research presentations, and other career-building opportunities by providing travel assistance and financial support. These experiences allow students to share their research, build professional networks, connect with potential employers and mentors, and become more actively involved in the wildlife profession.
These efforts are made possible through countless hours of volunteer service from our members, but financial support is also essential to fulfilling our mission and expanding the impact of our programs.
Potholes and Prairies Foundation, LLC. (P&P)
The Potholes and Prairies Foundation, LLC. (P&P) provides financial support to help the Chapter address the many challenges confronting wildlife, their habitats, and the professionals and students working to conserve them. Support from P&P helps strengthen conservation initiatives, student travel, scholarships and awards, student and professional development, educational opportunities, and other Chapter priorities.

Bill Bicknell Memorial Fund
The Bill Bicknell Memorial Fund was established to honor Bill's conservation ethic and lifelong commitment to natural resource conservation. Bill served the North Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society as Secretary-Treasurer, Executive Board member, President, and Past President.
Bill was especially committed to encouraging student involvement and creating opportunities for the next generation of conservation professionals. In recognition of that legacy, the memorial fund provides scholarship support to students pursuing degrees and careers in wildlife, conservation, and natural resource fields.
