2022 Awards - Graduate Student Scholarship (Jessica Duttenhefner)

We're continuing to celebrate our award winners! Please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students and professionals!

Student Awards: This year the Board decided to ask students to nominate themselves by applying for a scholarship and demonstrating why they were deserving. We awarded two undergraduate and two graduate students.

Jessica Duttenhefner is our Graduate Student scholarship recipient from North Dakota State University. Jessica’s research is focused on evaluating the dual-purpose utility of drones - hazing and monitoring nuisance blackbirds damaging commercial sunflower. Jessica is described as an intelligent and capable student who is succeeding in graduate school and as a wildlife biologist. Jessica’s strengths include an unbridled enthusiasm and a variety of skills ranging from the lab to the field.

Jessica also took home first place in the graduate poster competition at the Annual Meeting!

We applaud her on both accomplishments and wish her all the best in her career!
