JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Pollinator Field Technician
Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center, U.S. Geological Survey, is looking for a Pollinator Field Technician
The technicians will serve as contributing members of a multidisciplinary research project on evaluating the performance of USDA conservation covers throughout their contract lifespan in provisioning forage for pollinators. The project goals are to quantify the establishment success of USDA pollinator covers that are in various stages of contract lifespan, including expired contracts, and to compare vegetation and pollinator community structure of USDA conservation covers across a gradient of contract lifespan. The field assistant will be working in a 2-person team alongside another technician. Duty station will be Jamestown, ND. Occasional overnight travel to SD, MN, or MT field sites may be required.
