Prescribed Fire: Boots on the Ground Workshop - Retired Attendee

Join us Tuesday, February 4th from 1-5 PM CST for an in-person workshop entitled “Prescribed Fire: Boots on the Ground” hosted by NDCTWS. This workshop, organized by Cara Greger (NDWF) & Kelli Kuska (Pheasants Forever), will discuss topics such as how to burn short to mixed grass prairie for best results to improve forage quantity and quality, set up a prescribed burning regime on private land to improve grazing and CRP, and how to prepare for and have a successful burn day. This workshop will contain Q&A opportunities throughout and scenarios to practice the skill of planning a prescribed burn.
