JOB POSTING: Season Biological Technician

North Dakota State University (NDSU) in cooperation with the USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services, National Wildlife Research Center (Klug Lab) is hiring seasonal biological technicians to assist in evaluating the response of free-ranging, red-winged blackbirds to drone platforms of different sizes and speeds. This study is a part of on-going research concerning best practices for using drones to monitor wildlife as well as their use as frightening devices to disperse birds away from agricultural resources. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants to gain experience in wildlife management, birds, agriculture, and drone operation.
