CMPS 2025 Annual Meeting

Greetings CMPS of TWS Member,

2025 is a BIG year for our Section of The Wildlife Society because it is the 70th Anniversary (CMPS of TWS began April 22nd, 1955)!!! We plan to CELEBRATE at the combined annual meeting with the Nebraska Chapter of TWS in Kearney, NE (the Holiday Inn & Convention Center) February 25-27, 2025 (Tuesday-Thursday). 

 Meeting Information:

The meeting theme is Advocacy with an emphasis on Wetlands. An engaging plenary, interactive workshops, trivia, awards, and the always entertaining auction are planned. Early registration should open by mid-December, an email will be sent when it is live.

Abstract Submission Information:

Please submit presentation abstracts by December 7, 2024 to Matt Gruntorad, NETWS President-Elect, at mgruntorad2@unl.edu. 

Please indicate which of the following formats you wish to submit when sending your abstract:

1.     General Session – 20 min. presentation – open to anyone, student or professional

2.     Student Poster Competition – reserved for undergraduate or graduate students. Should be prepared and printed with final dimensions under 48 inches high  x 96 inches wide. The top two student poster winners will receive cash awards.
