Recovering America's Wildlife Act (S. 1149) Updates

On April 17th, NDCTWS co-signed a letter sent to the US Senate requesting the support for and advancement of the Recovering America's Wildlife Act (S. 1149).

As of Tuesday (5/9), the Recovering America's Wildlife Act (S. 1149) has 10 new Senate cosponsors, including Senators Collins (ME), Graham (SC), Moran (KS), Boozman (AR), Budd (NC), Carper (DE), Stabenow (MI), Rosen (NV), Tester (MT), and Sinema (AZ). The Wildlife Society and the American Fisheries Society sent out a call yesterday to the Senate urging additional Senators to co-sponsor the legislation. If you would like to help support this effort, please consider sending a letter to your relevant U.S. Senate offices asking them to sign on as cosponsors of the bill. A template cosponsor request letter can be downloaded and adapted to suit the needs of your unit here. If one of your unit's Senators has already cosponsored the legislation, please consider sending them a thank you letter.
