2023 Awards - Undergraduate Student Scholarship (Madi Namanny)

We're continuing to celebrate our award winners! Please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students and professionals!

Student Awards: This is the second year the Board has asked students to nominate themselves by applying for a scholarship and demonstrating why they were deserving. We awarded two undergraduate and two graduate students this year.

Madi Namanny is our other undergraduate scholarship winner this year. Madi is a freshman at Valley City State University majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology. Madi has already participated in several opportunities to gain real-world experience including working 2 field seasons for the Corps of Engineers at Riverdale on the least tern and piping plover crew. To quote from the provided letter of reference, “[Madi] is already very active in the VCSU student chapter and I am impressed with her determination and work history.”
