Student Awards: Bill Bicknell Legacy Scholarship (Cailey Isaacson)

We're continuing to celebrate our award winners! Please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students and professionals

The Bill Bicknell legacy scholarship ($1,000) is awarded to one undergraduate student or a group of undergraduates each year. This is not an academic award. Rather, this scholarship seeks to recognize and reward a student who has gone above and beyond in participating in and promoting wildlife conservation and the wildlife profession by demonstrating active participation in a wildlife organization, commitment to a personal wildlife conservation legacy, paid or volunteer experience in a conservation job and works to strengthen relationships between students and resource professionals.

This year's Bill Bicknell Legacy Scholarship recipient is Cailey Isaacson from the University of North Dakota. As an undergraduate, Cailey's talk on evaluating the use of drones for locating grassland nesting ducks also took home Best Paper at the 2022 Annual Meeting. Well done Cailey!
