2022 Awards - Undergraduate Student Scholarship (Nick Hill)

It's been a minute since our Virtual Annual Meeting but we want to take some time over the next few weeks and months to congratulate the many award recipients we recognized this year - please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students and professionals

Student Awards: This year the Board decided to ask students to nominate themselves by applying for a scholarship and demonstrating why they were deserving. We awarded two undergraduate and two graduate students.

From the University of North Dakota, Nick Hill was selected. Nick is a senior in Fisheries and Wildlife program at the University of North Dakota (UND) and secretary of the UND Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society. Nick started college, like many of us may have. We were there, but not really sure on what our future would hold. Nick didn’t find his true calling until he had the opportunity to experience wildlife conservation courses. For Nick, that was his spark, and since then he has opted to “not half-ass” his courses anymore and he is more dedicated than ever to a career in wildlife conservation. Nick, congratulations on finding your calling and on this scholarship!
